Our Process Safety Awareness Course has been accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), with some assessors scoring the content as ‘outstanding’. This is an important benchmark for us in continuing our commitment to ensuring everyone understands the part they play in preventing major incidents.
The course offers a series of 25 short, on-demand videos aimed at introducing the concept of process safety to non-safety personnel in major hazard industries. To date, the training has been embraced by over 1,000 industry professionals.
Founder and Managing Director, David Jamieson, said: “We are so proud to achieve IChemE accreditation for the course and are delighted with the feedback received from those who have embarked on the training.
“I truly believe that everyone understanding the basics of process safety is the most effective way of preventing major accidents, but I appreciate that rolling out training and initiatives to the whole workforce can be difficult, so we have removed as many barriers as we can.
“A huge benefit is that the course can be completed at your own pace and the questions at the end of each module enables participants to demonstrate their understanding and absorb their learnings. The actionable advice can then be applied immediately to individual roles.”
The course is competitively priced at £250 per person and participants will be awarded a certificate on completion to demonstrate competence. Organisations interested in signing up large teams are encouraged to contact us for a free trial: info@salus-technical.com
