Presented by David Jamieson

David founded Salus Technical in 2015 after a varied career that took him from Formula 1 to the North Sea. Having worked his way up to Safety Technical Authority for a major energy operator, he used that frontline experience to build a process safety engineering company with a simple goal: to challenge the way things have always been done and improve them through technology, training and expertise.

Here’s what Safety Managers have to say about Salus training courses…

After an event we were looking for a course to provide to all levels in our organization, a solid understanding of process safety hazards and risk. For our operation, Salus Technical’s Process Safety Training course created the awareness and explained the appropriate layers of protection for managing the integrity of process systems. The interactive training provides the right level of understanding using the IOGP Process Safety Fundamentals.

Jurgen Joosten

QHSE Manager, Petrodec

The online Salus Technical Process Safety Training Course has been very beneficial in providing a clear and engaging introduction to Process Safety for those new to the topic, and also as a necessary refresher to more experienced personnel. In the short time of putting personnel through this course, feedback has been very positive, with value seen in sharing it wider in the organisation – particularly for those who feel they may not influence the process safety of our operations but do indeed play a role.

Euan Goldie

Head of Global Health & Safety, Neptune

We are incredibly thrilled with the results that the Salus Technical Process Safety Awareness course has produced! It has proven to be an invaluable asset in enhancing our team's understanding of process safety in our drilling and well operations. Our team members are now equipped with the knowledge and expertise to confidently identify and manage process safety risks associated with our operations. We couldn't be more thrilled with the outcomes of this course!

The Salus process safety CBT is a fantastic addition to our training resources, providing a comprehensive and interactive learning experience for our workforce. Ultimately fostering a culture of safety within our organisation which empowers our workforce to prioritise process safety in everything that we do.

Before starting operations, duty holders must submit a safety case to the UK regulator for assessment and approval must be obtained for operations can commence.

Fast paced but energetic and engaging training that gets all the key points across. Excellent awareness course that should be taken annually in the same way that Ethics training is conducted annually.
